Run Plant Engineer (Polymer Emulsion - Production) | Arkema Inc. | Hahnville, LA

Supports and executes the Manage Production Work Process within the
plant. Provides the technical expertise, leadership, and experience
necessary to optimize plant operations.
- Work with local team to accomplish personal goals as they relate to the Site MI Plan.
- Participates in the technical training and advising of block personnel.
- Works with plant personnel to optimize operations as well as to meet business and plant goals.
- Provide leadership needed to improve EH&S performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience
- Emulsion polymer process knowledge desired
- Black Belt or Green Belt Certification preferred, but not required.
- Travel requirements are minimal
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and solid knowledge/experience with EH&S Performance & Compliance, Cost Management, Plant Reliability, Product Quality and Personal Development.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Demonstrated leadership skills; as well as demonstrated ability to develop goals and action to improve performance
